Q. What is a CPA?

A. A Certified Public Account (CPA) is required to have a minimum of a four year degree.
They have to take an exam through the State Board of Accountancy. CPA's are required to
take 80 hours of continuous education every two years in order to retain their certification.

Q. Why choose a CPA to do you taxes?

A. CPA's are required to obtain a minimum of 80 hours every two years of continuing education.
Tax CPA's work full time and all year round preparing tax returns. Tax CPA's also receive a
constant flow of information from congress and the courts regarding tax law changes and interpretations. CPA's have to have a minimum required level of education, knowledge, and experience just to receive the CPA designation. CPA's are authorized to represent taxpayer's
when dealing with the IRS.
 

Q. Do we prepare out of state tax returns?

A. Yes. Our professional staff is skilled in preparing out of state tax returns for individuals
and businesses. Our staff receives all correspondence regarding any updated information
concerning other states tax returns.
 

Q. How do you qualify for an earned income credit?

A. You must have a qualified earned income, meet earned income and MAGI limitations,
your tax return must cover a full year and are filing any status except married file separate.
